Register Now!Venice offers one of the world's greatest sightseeing experiences! With its grand palaces, narrow canals and the Basilica of St. Mark's Square, Venice is truly a must-see for anyone visiting Italy.
Venice is famous for its glassmaking. For centuries Venetians have been blowing glass on the island of Murano. Elaborate showrooms with beautiful works have adjoining workshops where you can witness the traditional mastery of glassmaking. Burrano was first a fishing community, but now it is well-known for its lacemaking. Burrano's lacemaking heritage goes back over 500 years and is still done painstakingly by hand today.
We will pick you up from the hotel for this tour of Venice. Once we reach Tronchetto, we will take a 4-hour boat tour of Venice and the neighboring lagoon communities, with stops in Murano and Burano, finally ending up in Piazza San Marco. After our guided tour of the lagoon and St. Mark's Square, you will have about two hours of free time to explore the main island on your own.
