Parmigiano Reggiano was first made several hundred years ago at the Benedictine monasteries in the area between the Po River and the Apennine mountains. Join us as we travel to enjoy this delcious cheese and local balsamic vinegar.
What to expect:
In the morning we will visit a cheese factory near Parma, in the Emilia Romagna region. In the afternoon we will enjoy a guided tour of the acetaia, where balsamic vinegar is made. At the end of the tour we will enjoy a tasting consisting of an appetizer made with parmesan cheese and Parma ham, water and Lambrusco.
