Via Ferrata Overnight

Experience the scenic Italian Alps and Lake Garda by trekking two Via Ferratas ("Iron Paths") over Memorial Day weekend! Ascend a scenic river gorge ferrata and castle on the first day, and enjoy spectacular mountain views the next day.

Difficulty for each path is easy to moderate and the routes take three to five hours. Trekkers should be comfortable with heights and physically fit enough to spend three hours traversing steep terrain and pulling their body weight up the steepest parts when required. Pictures will be available for purchase afterward.

We will depart for Arco on Lake Garda's north shore early on Saturday. Trekkers should eat a substantial breakfast that morning to ensure they have adequate energy for the day's events. Group lunch on Saturday will be enjoyed at Castle Drena. At the end of the first day, you can relax in the sauna at the hotel to help you recover! After lunch at Arco on Sunday, we will depart for Vicenza to return by dark.
