Rome and Pompeii Weekend

Have a historic holiday with Outdoor Recreation!

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Instead of a Thanksgiving feast for your stomach, take in a Thanksgiving weekend feast for your eyes during this Outdoor Recreation trip to Rome and Pompeii

What to Expect:

On the first day we'll enjoy a guided tour of Rome followed by free time to explore on your own. Some sights in Rome you may enjoy include:

  • The Vatican
  • Trevi Fountain
  • St. Peter's Square
  • The Spanish Steps
  • The Roman Colosseum

The next day we will travel down to Pompeii where you can explore the unearthed ruins of a Roman city. When Mount Vesuvius erupted in the year 79 A.D., it destroyed the city in such a way that much was preserved where it fell.

On your final day we'll enjoy more time in Rome to spend as your wish before we head back to Vicenza.
