Join us for this trip to Tuscany! We'll begin the day by visiting the American Cemetery, just south of the city. This cemetery marks the final resting place of over 4000 WWII American soldiers. You'll have a chance to pay your respects during the ceremony where both American and Italian dignitaries as well as other military leadership come together. There will be speeches, a laying of a wreath, a moment of silence, and more.
Following the ceremony, we'll head into the city center where you'll have free time to explore on your own! This city has a rich history as a center of trade and finance in medieval Europe and is home to numerous religious and republic revolutions. Florence is considered the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and attracts millions of tourists every year — you could be one of them!
