Auditions for "9 to 5"

9 to 5: The Musical, with music by Dolly Parton, follows three fed-up female coworkers--Violet, Judy and Doralee--who plot revenge on their sexist, egotistical boss, Franklin Hart, Jr., leading them to kidnap him and transform their oppressive workplace into a modern, equitable company, proving "a girl can scheme, can't she?" This hilarious musical blends fantasy with reality, focusing on friendship, workplace inequality, and empowerment as the women take control, giving their company a dream makeover and finding their own strength. 

Auditions will consist of:

• Singing
• Dancing
• Acting Portion

Bring 30-60 seconds of music to sing (preferably musical theatre) that shows off your range with a backing tracing from a mobile device.  The dance audition will be taught by the choreographer, and lastly acting will be cold readings from the script.  Audition forms will be filled out on site; for ages 16-Adult due to mature themes.

Performance Dates:

• March 13 & 14 at 7 p.m.
• March 20 & 21 at 7 p.m.
• March 15 & 22 at 2 p.m.
