Basic Bike Mechanic Course

Learn the basics that all cyclists should know to keep their rides rolling smoothly and safely.

#

Love cycling but feel a bit unsure when it comes to maintaining your bike? You’re in good company. This hands‑on, beginner‑friendly workshop is designed to help you build confidence, learn essential skills, and enjoy your rides even more.

Over the session, we’ll roll up our sleeves and explore the fundamentals of bike care from fixing a flat to adjusting your gears. You’ll work directly on your own bike, ask all the questions you’ve ever wondered about, and pick up practical tips that make a real difference on the road or trail.

Expect a relaxed, supportive environment where curiosity is encouraged and no one is expected to know anything before they arrive. You’ll also meet fellow riders who share your love of cycling and want to feel more empowered with their bikes.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Patch or replace an inner tube
  • Clean and lubricate your drivetrain
  • Check your bike for safety
  • Make simple adjustments to brakes and gears
  • Understand what tools you actually need

What to Bring:

  • Your bike
  • A spare tube
  • Comfortable clothes
  • Your enthusiasm

Let’s build a community of confident cyclists  one wrench turn at a time.
