Home School Art: Drawing & Painting

Get your home school child/children signed up for the Art Center's drawing and painting classes! Students ages 4-6 years will explore a variety of dry and wet mediums, while students ages 7-9 years will learn simple pencil, charcoal and paint techniques as well as introductory principles of design. Students ages 10 and up will expound upon principles of line, movement, perspective and value. Color theory, portrait drawing and acrylic paint techniques will also be introduced.

Class meets: Wednesday, February 7, 14, 21, and 28 (ages and times below)

• Ages 4-6 years, 9-10:30 a.m.
• Ages 7-9 years, 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
• Ages 10 and up, 12:45-2:15 p.m.

Additional information:

• Supplies are included
• Some mediums may stain so please have your child/children dress appropriately
• Parents are not required to stay for the duration of the class
