The ACS Personal Financial Counselor will present a slide show breaking down the key components of the Blended Retirement System (BRS). If you have had the required class (or not) and you are still scratching your head, this will give you a chance review the main points and ask questions.

Class repeats the following Wednesdays:

  • May 17
  • May 24
  • May 31
  • June 7
  • June 14

This class offers:

  • One hour of simple information
  • Information from a certified Financial Counselor
  • Time alloted for questions from the small group

Examples of questions may be:

What does vesting mean?

Can I roll a lump sum into the BRS?

What happens if I leave the Army?

What happens if I stay beyond 20 years?

There will also be opportunity to schedule a more in-depth discussion with the counselor.
