Sasso Bianco Hike

Join us for a beautiful mountain outing starting from San Tomaso Agordino, a charming scattered village in the province of Belluno. Nestled on the slopes of the Auta Range, this area is dotted with picturesque hamlets.

What to Expect:

We'll ascend toward the peaceful Tabiai di Ciamp Plateau and continue on to the welcoming Rifugio Sasso Bianco, where an unforgettable view of the north‑west face of Mount Civetta awaits.

This itinerary leads us through quiet forests, open meadows, and panoramic ridges, far from the usual tourist crowds. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy the Dolomites in their most authentic and serene form.

Hiking Details:

• Elevation gain: 675 meters
• Route: Forest road to La Costa de le Palote + unmarked mountain trail
• Distance: 3.5 km each way (out‑and‑back)
• Time required: 2 to 2.5 hours for the ascent
• Difficulty: Easy overall, with some steep sections
