Sewing Machine Basics

Learn tips and tricks to get started sewing!

#
Note: This event has already passed.

Participants will learn how to use a sewing machine from start to finish while creating a lined, gusseted wine bag — perfect for holiday gifts! This class is for beginners, so zero experience needed!

Instructor Cindy will give step-by-step instructions in basic sewing machine operation that you will be able to use in other sewing projects. Sewing machines are available at the Arts & Crafts Center for open studio use once trained in basic operation. After taking the class, come back and make more! Participants may also bring their personal sewing machines — the Arts & Crafts Center has 110v and 220v outlets.

Childcare note: For those who take advantage of booking and paying for their childcare at the same time, your children will enjoy a Preschool Picasso class while you're enjoying your class.

Learn a new skill to create unique gifts for the holidays!
