Val Gardenia is known for being a ski paradise for beginners and World Cup stars alike, and having the longest ski slope in South Tyrol. In Val Gardena you can also experience the longest ski slope in South Tyrol, the "La Longia", which is more than 10 km long, features 1,273 m of elevation gain and stretches from mount Seceda to Ortisei. The slopes feature a variety of passages, from wide slopes to a natural canyon with a frozen waterfall: pure bliss for every skier! With 29% Beginner slopes, 59% intermediate slopes, 12% Expert slopes, Val Gardenia is suited to all ability levels.
The bus plans to leave promptly on time so please arrive early enough beforehand. We are not planning a stop on the way up. The bus has a restroom onboard, but in the event that it's not operational we can make a stop as needed.
Rental equipment must be reserved in advance. You will be able to pick up your rental equipment the morning of the trip from Outdoor Recreation. We will pick up people from Del Din first, then stop at Ederle for everyone to load their equipment onto the bus.
The trip guide will provide guidance on the resort to the best of their knowledge. If you're interested in having lessons on skiing/snowboarding, please contact Outdoor Recreation directly.
A note on weather: In some instances Outdoor Recreation has adjusted locations due to severe weather or closures.
