Venice Kayaking

There's no city like Venice and there's no better way to experience Venice than from its twisting canals. And rather than just a short, expensive gondola ride, why not paddle your own vessel for a couple hours? You will get to visit the beautiful Island of Murano. Known world wide for it's glass blowing legacy.

For this trip we utilize recreational kayaks with a cockpit design. This means you are seated inside a kayak, and a spray skirt is available for those with experience utilizing one. The week prior to the trip, participants will have the opportunity to practice using the kayak in one of the post pools. The meeting times to practice will be provided to all participants.

A note on weather: We will plan to paddle unless the conditions are dangerous to do so (for example thunderstorms or high winds). We will provide updates on the weather prior to the trip.
