October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Wear Purple Wednesdays is a local awareness event to promote awareness by wearing purple on every Wednesday of October. It reminds us to stay vigilant with our message that violence against our community members must end! It also provides an opportunity for us to celebrate the survivors of intimate partner violence.
It is a community effort to shine the light on Domestic Violence.
