Enjoy this hiking trip where we’ll set out from Marostica to explore the serene San Benedetto hills, a corner of the Veneto countryside where soft slopes, woodland paths, and open panoramas create an inviting setting for a springtime walk.

Our route winds through a patchwork of olive groves, meadows, and quiet rural lanes, offering a peaceful escape just above the historic town. As we climb gradually toward the San Benedetto area, the landscape opens up to reveal sweeping views of the valley and the surrounding hills, perfect moments to pause, breathe, and enjoy the beauty of the season.

Chiara Bertacco is a naturalist and a certified Environmental Hiking Guide (Guida Ambientale Escursionistica) based in the province of Vicenza, Italy. She holds a degree in Natural Sciences and a master's degree in the same field with a specialization in nature education. Her work is driven by a passion for sharing the wonders of the natural world, aiming to help people see and understand the environment beyond a superficial glance. This philosophy is represented by her logo, a tree with visible roots, symbolizing her approach to exploring the ecological dynamics, local history, and traditions of a place. She is also a member of AIGAE, the Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides.
