Darby Independence Day Celebration & Olympics

Experience the Camp Darby Olympics during the Darby Military Community Independence Day Celebration! You'll be able to enjoy watching AFSBN, Garrison, 839th, Air Force, Space Force and Carabinieri/IBC go for gold!

Cheer for your team in:

• Tug of War
• Overhead ball toss
• Tire Flip Relay
• Relay Race 4 x 4
• Bocce Toss

There will also be a bouncy house as well as events for children, youth and teens including:

• Standing Long jump
• Bocce toss
• Soccer goal kick

After the competitions, enjoy good foods, drinks and good company (food provided by a grant from the Gary Sinise Foundation).

Schedule of Events:

• 07:30 - Team Captains and teams lineup, National Anthems (US and Italian)

• 08:00 - Opening Remarks

• 08:30 – First Event Relay Race 4 x 4

• 0900 – Tired tire flip challenge (team of 4)

• 1000 – Bocce Toss

• 1100 – Tug of War

• 1130 – Prizes and Awards presentation

• 1200 - Start of BBQ

• 12:00 - Kids games begin (standing long jump, bocce toss, soccer goal kick)

• 17:00 - Closing of event
