#

The Spring Festival is traditionally the first major folk festival of the year at Munich's Theresienwiese. It features two festival tents, over 100 showmen with rides and stalls, and a large supporting program. To mark the 60th anniversary of the Spring Festival, the folk festival will be extended from two to three weeks, from April 17 to May 10, 2026.

Traditionally, the “little sister of the Wiesn” offers a supporting program with an opening parade and tapping of the first keg (April 17, starting at 3 p.m.), Bavaria's largest flea market organized by the BRK (April 18, starting at 7 a.m.), the classic car meet (April 26) organized by the Munich Automobile Club, and a day of traditional customs (May 3). In addition, fireworks are planned for two Friday evenings. On family afternoons on Tuesdays, there are reduced prices from noon to 7 p.m.
