Prosecco Wine Tour in Asolo

Why old "Wine Down" on "Wednesdays?"  Head off with Outdoor Recreation as we visit the province of Asolo!  We'll head there to enjoy prosecco, a bubbly white wine from Northern Italy. This dry to semi-dry wine is popular in this area of Italy and only a stone's throw away. Come with us to learn more about how Prosecco is made and taste some for yourself! You'll enjoy an amazing winery tour followed by wine tasting with accompanying finger foods.

Our time at the winery will be followed by strolling the streets and piazza's of this quaint, lovely town outside of Bassano del Grappa!  You'll have free time to browse the many shops full to the brim with home made products and selling some absolutely amazing food, ranging from the local bread made on wood fired ovens to some of the best salami you will ever eat.

The main sights are undoubtedly the 13th century castle of Queen Cornaro which is now a theatre, the 9th century tower high above the town and the old city walls on the hill as you walk up to the tower. A few others of note include the cathedral, which dates back in parts to the 10th century, and the 16th century villas on the edge of town.
