Join this annual Easter egg hunt that's great for the whole family!

Join the fun at the Vicenza Military Communities annual Eggstravaganza!  This is a popular seasonal event for the entire family.

What to Expect:

  • Pictures with the Easter Bunny
  • Art Center crafts
  • Animal Expo (with bunnies and alpacas)
  • Fire Department kids giveaways
  • USO & Red Cross giveaways
  • Prize drawing for poster egg hunt
  • Kids games and inflatables
  • Food trucks
  • Drinks (provided by the Arena)

Location: Hoekstra Field (across from the memorial flame)

Event Opens: 10 a.m.

Event Ends: 2 p.m.

Egg Hunt Times:

  • 10:30 a.m. - Ages 0-3 years
  • 11:30 a.m. - Ages 4-7 years
  • 12:30 p.m. - Ages 8-10 years
  • 1:30 p.m. - Ages 11-12 years

Additional Information:

  • There will be food and drink available for purchase
  • Free to US & Italian employee ID cardholders
  • This is a "No Pet" event (dogs are not allowed on the sports fields)
  • Parents are asked to keep track of their children and their child's safety during the entire event

Eggstravaganza Poster Egg Hunt:

This year, the Eggstravaganza poster will again work as an egg hunt! Head to the Ederle Library to have your children count how many eggs they can find hidden on the poster. Fill out an entry form with how many they saw and enter it into the drawing by March 29. The winner will be drawn on the day of the event and will receive a prize!

Registration Information

ID Card Holders, do you have a guest you'd like to invite on post for the Eggstravaganza? There will be no guest sign in the day of the event so please follow these instructions to get them pre-registered:

  1. Download the Excel form
  2. Fill out the form with information from their "Carta di Identita" (not from an Italian driver's licence)
  3. Submit the form to the email listed on the document
  4. Make sure document is submitted no later than March 18.
