Sledding/Ski Trip to Rosskopf/Vipiteno

Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo in Sterzing/Vipiteno, South Tyrol, offers a top-class sledding experience. You can enjoy ten kilometers of perfectly groomed and snow-covered sledding fun. This is also the home of Italy's longest illuminated and snow-covered sledding run provides, offering plenty of excitement for both young and old. The starting point is directly at the Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo mountain station at 1,860 meters. From there, the sled ride takes you through an impressive forest landscape, descending 900 meters back to the base station in Sterzing/Vipiteno. Sleds can be easily rented directly at the on-site ski rental – no reservation is necessary.

Please note: Helmets are mandatory for minors!

In winter, in addition to 20 km of sunny slopes for skiing, beautiful snowshoe hikes and long toboggan rides await you all winter long. The Rosskopf run is Italy’s longest illuminated and artificial snow-covered toboggan trail. Off the slopes you will find various idyllic cozy mountain huts and shelters with great culinary dishes, influenced by the Austrian and Italian cuisine. The unique panoramic view will complete your perfect day in our winter wonder land.
