How old does my child have to be to go to the Youth Center? 

Youth must be in the 6th-12th grade to participate in Youth Center activities and to have a Youth Center registration. Youth may attend until the end of the summer they graduate high school.

What clubs and activities are offered? 

The Youth Center offers a variety of after school programs based upon the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA) and 4-H programming. Interested parents are encouraged to come by the center and receive a monthly activity calendar.

Are all of the programs offered through the Youth Centers free? If not, how much do they cost?

Daily programming is free to eligible youth eligible Monday through Friday. The Youth Center offers special events once a month in the evenings and the cost for these events will vary ($5 - $15) according to the amount of time the youth is in program.

Are food and snack provided to youth in the centers?

Yes, the Youth Center offers a variety of snacks to the youth. We encourage the youth to eat healthy and make good nutritional choices.

Are there any restrictions on food and beverages allowed in the Youth Center? 

We allow the youth to make their own food choices but we do emphasize nutrition. For health reasons, we do not allow the youth to bring in energy drinks, coffee or candy. Other healthier choices are allowed to be consumed in the center.
