Outdoor Recreation is offering you a chance to wander the streets of Volterra. The walled hilltop town of Volterra will enchant you. The town still has traces of its Etruscan past - it was one of 12 power centers from the 4th through 6th centuries BC - as well as its Roman past. You can see all of these past eras on your visit to Volterra, starting from parts of the walls that go back to Etruscan times but built on through the Middle Ages
You'll have a day of free time to explore the city on your own, with some sites to enjoy being:

- Porta all'Arco
- The Baptister
- Chiesa della Misericordia
- Cappella della Croce (Chapel of the Cross)
- Church of San Leo
